STX Golf Tour allows for a truly even playing field for it's competitors. We utilize our own handicapping system to offer the most fair and equitable "net" stroke play tournaments around. We have great payouts and very reasonable entry fees, giving players the best "bang for their buck" in "mini-tour" golf!

Frequently Asked Questions
Professional and amateur golfers playing to a single digit handicap.
Players who have a verifiable GHIN handicap index will be allowed to use this as their initial STX Tour handicap for their first event. Once players have completed 3 tournament rounds with the tour, their STX Tour index will be calculated using tournament scores only.
If a player doesn't have a handicap index, we can create one based off recent tournament scores that can be verified online. Otherwise, the player can start as a 0 (scratch).
Players net score will be limited to 2 strokes under their handicap until they've established tour HCP index. Once a tour index is established, if players shoot a score 6 or more shots under their handicap, this score will be entered into the system twice. Example: If a 4 handicap shoots a 70 (-2) on a par 72 course, this score will be entered into the system twice before the players next tournament round.
- Entry fees for "one day" events are between$265-$295 and 1st Place can pay up to $3,500 with a full field of 60 players.
- Entry fees for "2 Day Majors" are between $675-$995 and 1st Place can pay up to $12,500 with a full field of 60 players
Yes! Entry fees include carts, green fees and warm up balls
Yes! In addition to the tournament stroke play event, players have several daily cash game options that offer generous payouts for each tournament round. Additional cash games can include:
- Nassau (pays out the low net scores on both front & back 9's)
- Low Gross (pay's out the low gross score(s) - top 25% of entires paid out)
- Gross Skins / Dueces
- "Closest to the Pin" on Par 3's
